Project Engineer

Erika has been working in northern California and Nevada since 2005 and has a wide variety of experience both in commercial and residential structural design. Her fields of expertise are in heavy-snow, high-seismic, and wind areas. Erika has extensive experience designing with traditional materials such as timber, structural steel, masonry, concrete, and other innovative materials. She has an open-minded, progressive approach to design and has enjoyed working on projects involving sustainable building construction and alternative building materials. Along with complete, ground-up projects, she has extensive experience in additions and remodels as well as with providing engineering support to the insurance industry through efficient assessments and innovative repair designs. Her attention to detail and receptive attitude are a welcome addition to any project team. 

 

Erika loves spending time with her family here in the United States and in Peru. She enjoys family hikes and working in the garden. Erika is involved in her kids’ school activities and helps other students with advice on their path to college.
